Job Description
Do you have warehouse, factory or production experience? JCB, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment, are looking for keen and talented Assembly / Warehouse Operatives to join us at our cutting-edge sites in Staffordshire based at either our World headquarters at Rocester at the postcode ST145JP or one of our Uttoxeter sites at the postcode ST14 5DX.
We are holding assessments every day at 1pm which take around 2hrs which comprises of a basic Maths and English test and one to one chat with a consultant .
The assembly roles come with a favourable salary of £12.16 from day 1
Here are some of the daily tasks you could be involved in.
• Playing a crucial role in the assembly line, helping put together our world-class construction equipment and vehicles
• Using hand and air tools with ease and confidence – Training given.
• Taking part in the on-site warehouse and operative training programmes to hone your skills To apply for the Production Operative role, you will need an eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and a good timekeeping and attendance record.
Previous assembly or mechanical experience is desirable, although full training will be provided.
Immediate starts are available.
You will need to be flexible and willing to work shifts, and shift allowances will be paid in addition to an hourly rate where applicable.
