Job Description

£10,033.66 per annum 

18.5-hour contract

Trident Group has over 50 years of delivering homes, services, and innovation for up to 8,000 people in over 3,400 homes in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. The Group consists of;

Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance

Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.

About the role

To successfully support older people over 55 with the emphasis on supporting them to be able to maintain independence for as long as they can.  To assist the Service Lead in all operational running of the service.  To provide a customer focused housing service provision across the scheme.  To deliver day to day housing management services across the scheme.  Day to day monitoring of leases

Key Responsibilities.

To effectively promote and encourage Resident involvement to maximise personal autonomy, choice, and determination.  This includes involving customers in the design, review, and delivery of services to act and tackle issues and ensure that support plans developed by other staff meet this requirement. 

To assist in the assessment and selection process of prospective customers in line with the service requirements and to ensure an effective referral process is always adhered to 

To actively promote continual improvement of services to influence the quality of lives of Residents in line with the strategic Plan and linking into local and national policies  

To network, develop relationships and work in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness of the association’s work and the services 

Specialist  

Ensuring occupancy targets are met, through lettings and refurbishments of properties. 

Meeting rent collection and arrears targets. 

Providing practical housing assistance and information to customers when entering the service and throughout their involvement with the service, e.g., assisting customers in the completion and understanding of occupancy agreements and housing benefit claims and liaison with benefit agencies. 

Monitoring the delivery of reactive repairs across the properties within schemes in the cluster is of a high standard and cost effective. 

Delivering high standards of housing management and ensuring that the service is meeting best practice. 

Monitoring and reducing issues of anti-social behaviour within services. 

General 

Prepare monthly reports and statistics relating to services and KPI’s  

To support customer engagement activities as required. 

Always ensure a consistent and pro-active approach to the role, carrying out other duties as may be required from time to time in order to maintain an efficient operation of all aspects relating to the needs of the team and the organisation. 

About you

We are looking for individuals with relevant experience in providing specialist support that may and will cover a range of activities:

A working knowledge of legislation regarding delivering support to vulnerable people

Experience of working within a busy support environment

Experience of keeping accurate and compliant records

Experience of working with Microsoft applications

A relevant qualification specific to the role

Experience of working with multi agency partnerships
