Sales Administrator

Salary up to £40K neg according to skills and knowledge excellent benefits inc. discretionary Bonus scheme. 20 days holiday plus statutory days rising to 25 days  Excellent benefits including Pension Life /Private Health care 37.5 hours per week

Our Clients are looking for a Sales Administrator, to support the sales department and will be customer facing, providing support for the Sales Managers and administratively following the orders through from initial enquiry to final purchase order.  Our clients orders are for large bespoke pieces of engineering equipment and can be technical and complicated requiring many months before the exact requirements are agreed.   Knowledge of Terms and Conditions would be helpful as the enquiries can be very long and involve many parts to the tender.

Proactive identification of enquiries at the early stages of client project approval

Assess new sales leads and opportunities and evaluate whether our client should pursue them, contacting clients for clarifications and further information
Develop initial tenders in conjunction with Process and Estimating teams
Support Sales Managers with tenders and administration as required
Oversee and supervise the marketing and social media side
Manage the completion of pre-qualification applications
Ensure relevant bid/estimate signoffs are attained in line with procedures
Check technical documents are in line with procedures
Work with the Estimating team to expand the supply chain by researching and identifying new suppliers
General admin duties as required, including occasional ad hoc projects
Potential client visits and secondment to other departments
Participate in Sales and Strategy meetings
