SEN Teacher
TimePlan Education are assisting an Ofsted rated 'Good' girls' school based in the borough of Wandsworth in the process of recruiting a SEN Teacher to join them in September 2022.
About the school:
This Mainstream secondary school is based in a fantastic location with good transport links nearby. The successful headteacher together with her supportive senior leadership team encourage the students to become independent, articulate young women where they respect and support each other. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, it was stated that 'Students respect each other, behave well and value the outstanding opportunities they have to contribute to the school and to the wider community.'
Recently opening a new recourse base for girls with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs they are looking to recruit a Qualified Teacher to join them. This will offer a provision for girls aged between 11 to 18 with SEMH who need additional support to access a mainstream curriculum, along with additional support that considers their mental health, emotional and academic needs.
About the role:
Full – Time (Monday – Friday.)
You will be well supported by the school and be able to attend regular CPD.
You will be expected to plan lessons and mark & track progress of students.
Attending school meetings and parents' evenings.
You must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status.
Experience of working with children with SEN would be preferable
You need to be able to teach across Key Stages and across all subjects.
