Job Description
Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Gatwick Airport.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for an immediate start, due to the position starting landside.
Responsibilities
Warehouse team members play an integral role in loading, sorting and storing goods, working efficiently within a team to ensure the warehouse standards are always maintained.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
Safely storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
Breaking down pallets and working to get the stock to stores within the airport
Taking responsibility for a company's goods and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at work
Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Managers or Supervisors
Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
Shift Pattern
12 hours shifts on a 4 on, 4 off basis
2 days (Apply online only)) 2 nights (Apply online only)) 4 off.
Pay rate
£11.27ph PAYE
Full training provided

Opportunity to obtain a full airside pass – giving you access to various discounts in stores and restaurants at Gatwick as well as local transport discounts
Temp to perm contract
£50 a month bonus after completing security & NXCT ( screening course)
£10 a month bonus after completing DHL approved FLT training
Overtime paid at time and a half
Person Specification
Experience within a busy logistical environment and manual handling would be beneficial
The ability to work within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail & safety protocols is essential
Excellent communication skills and team spirit are essential
Must be hardworking & reliable with an excellent work ethic
Have no unspent criminal convictions – If you are successful, you will be required to apply for a Criminal Record Check
