Job Description

Service and Installation Engineer

£30,000 – £40,000 (+ OT + Phone + Hotels + Meal Allowance)

Hereford

Our client are a bespoke manufacturer of packaging and filling machinery, they have gone through a period of extended growth and are seeking an installation and service engineer. The successful candidate will split their time from head office In Hereford and at client premises around the country.

Responsibilities – Service and Installation Engineer

Installing single machine or full production lines
Assisting with customer FAT’s & SAT’s (at Suppliers and Hereford site)
Commissioning machines
Delivering training to customer’s Engineers & Operatives after installation
Servicing and providing ongoing support for installed machinery/lines.
Liaising and ordering from Engineering suppliers
Exhibition duties as and when necessary
Any other duties that the management deem necessary.
Experience/Qualifications – Service and Installation Engineer

Time served multi-skilled engineer with an electrical/electronical bias
Familiar with PLC controlled equipment
Good general mechanical knowledge, capable of identifying machine issues and implementing corrective actions.
