Job Description
Mechanical Project Manager required on a permanent basis for a large data centre site in the Oxford area.
Our client, one of the leading M & E Contractors in the industry are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to be based on a data centre project in the Oxford area . Our client deals in all aspects of the M & E industry to include Office / Commercial build, Healthcare, Residential, Fit out, Airports, High security buildings such as MOD and Houses of Parliament, Power and Maintenance.
Responsibilities;
* Plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality
* Management of site teams
* Know your Scope of Works/Specifications in detail
* Responsible for checking and red pen drawings
* Manage both electronic and paper documents
* Project tracking documentation kept up to date and issued along with the Project Report
* Site Audit Reports for Subbie snags
* Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
* Sub-Contractor management
* Procurement of Sub-Contractors and Materials
* Responsible for projects costs for Variation Accounts
Requirements;
ONC / HNC desirable
SMSTS
Previous experience managing data centre projects previously is ideal , commercial and industrial experience essential
