Job Description
Role: SEND TA
Location: Tower Hamlets
Rate £95 – £110 per day
Start Date: September 2022
Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ certificate in Children’s Learning and Development or equivalent? Do you work well independently and as part of a team?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of SEND & Mainstream schools across East London.
The schools are for students of various abilities, ranging from moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs. The post requires talented SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants who are flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff.
The role will include:
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
1:1 work with students who require additional support
Leading group work
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
